The Most Romantic Paris Itinerary

Dreaming of when you can finally travel again? Come along, dream with me let’s look at this Paris Itinerary.

Paris is called the city of love and you really get that vibe with this 5-day vacation. Treat yourself and your partner with this over the top trip. Whether you are looking for a trip to propose to the love of your life or you’ve been together for 30 years, you are sure to enjoy this intimate getaway with your partner.

Day 1

Morning/Arrival

Take your time settling into the city. Find your way to your hotel room, unpack and maybe even take a nap before heading out for a romantic dinner. Do not underestimate the jet lag, it is very real.

Evening

Hop onto the Bustronome for a lovely evening of sightseeing and delicious food. This bus/restaurant hybrid has a glass roof that gives you the feeling of being immersed in Paris. The Bustronome travels around the city while you enjoy your meal, allowing you to take in the historic sights and get familiar with Paris. Book an evening dinner to see why they call if the city of lights. Be sure to book in advance and select the package that comes with wine and champagne. It’s well worth the extra euros.

Day 2

Morning

Treat yourself with a glamorous photoshoot in Paris. Get dolled up and hire a makeup artist to fully embrace the experience. I suggest Onorina Jomir Beauty, who offers full makeup and hair services. Prepare to wake up at 3 am to catch the glorious lights of the Parisian Sunrise.

Use this photoshoot to capture the love you share with your partner or steal it as a moment to propose. Whatever style you choose, Kiss Me In Paris will snap once in a lifetime photos that you will cherish forever.

Photoshoots are also a great opportunity to take in the historical sites of this gorgeous city.

Travelers Tip: Pack undereye moisturizer and face masks for the night before.

Afternoon

Head back to your hotel and change into some walking shoes because you’re headed to Avenue des Champs-Élysées for lunch and shopping.

Stroll the bustling sidewalks and duck into the luxury stores that line this street.

Enjoy lunch at Ladurée and indulge in their world-famous macaroons. Be ready to wait in line at this restaurant & bakery. You’ll want to get a table for your lunch and then jump in line to snag a box of macaroons to go. Don’t worry, it’s well worth the wait.

Don’t forget to check out the Arc de Triomphe while your on this side of town. You can check it out from across the street or buy a ticket to fully explore the monument.

Next, you can head back to your hotel for a quiet evening in your room to recover from the early morning adventures.

Day 3

Morning

Enjoy breakfast at a local cafe, try to snag a sidewalk table to get a true Parisian experience. After you’ve finished eating call an Uber for a private ride to the Palace of Versailles. The trip is approximately 40 minutes and calling an Uber will save you the time and hassle of taking public transport to the countryside palace. Be warned, the line to enter the palace can be extremely long. Be sure to wear sunblock and bring a bottle of water.

The grounds are extensive and well worth every moment spent exploring them. Hold hands as you walk through Marie Antoinette’s garden and marvel at the grandiose architecture and artwork sprawled throughout this massive estate.

Travelers Tip: Wear tennis shoes and be ready to rent a small electric vehicle to save yourself some energy while exploring the grounds.

Evening

Dress up for an evening on the town. Enjoy a champagne dinner at the famed Moulin Rouge. Trust me, you won’t be disappointed.

The show is out of this world entertaining with traditional cabaret, amazing magic and even some animal taming. Book the VIP package ahead of time to get a good view of the show as well as a delicious dinner with a bottle of champagne.

They also send you home with an awesome gift bag to remember the evening.

Travelers Tip: They don’t allow photography/videography in the theater but they do have a photographer who will capture the moment for you. Bring some cash so that you can take your souvenir photos home with you.

Day 4

Morning

Sleep in a bit before heading to The Louvre. A Paris landmark, this museum is filled with breathtaking, thought-provoking art that will get you and your partner talking. Before heading out book your ticket online and decide which parts of the museum you want to see. This place is a labyrinth and you could easily spend a full day here. You can choose to explore the museum all day and lunch at their cafes or you can head out for more city adventure.

Travelers Tip: This museum is filled with tourists and is not for the claustrophobic.

Afternoon

Roam the area to find a lunch spot of your liking. Pop into tourist shops and patisseries to get a real feeling for the city. Head over to the Opera House for your Anastasia moment on that beautiful staircase.

Evening

Get dolled up once again for a romantic dinner at Hôtel Costes. Truly an exquisite experience, this restaurant transports you to a romantic atmosphere where you can enjoy the company of your loved one while indulging in a decadent meal.

Red velvet seating, candlelight, and fresh roses make Hôtel Costes an unforgettable location.

Throw caution to the wind and try the beef tartare as your appetizer. Order anything for your meal. You can’t go wrong.

Enjoy this candlelight dinner. Take this time to indulge, you’re in the city of love after all!

Day 5

Morning

Strap on some sneakers because you are heading to a French market and cooking class with La Cuisine Paris. Learn from a french cook as he guides you through an authentic French market where you will purchase fresh ingredients to cook your lunch. Luckily all classes from La Cuisine Paris are taught in English, so you don’t have to worry about a language barrier.

Listen as the chef educates you on the history of the market, which produce is fresh in season, and how to select cheese from a cheesemonger. You’ll even get to taste items at the market.

Get to know your fellow travelers who are shopping and cooking with you today. This is a fun group experience.

You’ll head to La Cuisine Paris to don your apron and get to cooking. The cook will teach you best practices and guide you through creating a delicious lunch.

Last, you’ll enjoy the fruits of your labor at a relaxed lunch with your fellow travelers. Your meal is topped off with a lesson in french cheeses.

The cook even sends you off with a recipe card of the meal that you learned to make.

Travelers Tip: If you have long hair, tie it back for this day of cooking.

Afternoon

Spend the afternoon exploring the streets of Paris. Go wherever your heart leads. Need some ideas? Here are a few:

Head over to Julia Child’s favorite cooking supply store, E. Dehillerin.

Go to Rue de Castiglione for more luxury shopping.

Top off your afternoon with smoked ice cream from Une Glace à Paris.

Evening

Embrace your last evening in Paris with dinner at the Eiffel Tower. Book a dinner with Le Jules Verne for a 7-course meal worthy of your Paris Farewell. Enjoy the views of the city from within the legendary tower. Reminisce and toast to your romantic week in Paris.
